[불자님들께 감사드립니다]

저의 컬럼을 찾아 주시는 불자님들께 감사의 말씀 드립니다.
감사의 말씀을 진작 올렸어야 하는데, 비통한 마음에 이제야 인사 올립니다. 바쁜 와중에 위로해 주셔서 정말 감사합니다(인사가 늦어 죄송합니다*^*^*).

엊그제가 저의 어머님 49 재였습니다. 또한 칠월칠석날이라, 어머니께서 그렇게 보고 싶어하시던 아버님을 만나 뵈었는지도 모르겠습니다.

아직도 마음은 허전합니다만, 이제는 정말 어머니를 잊으려 합니다. 자꾸 마음이 돌아가신분을 향해 있으면 산 사람이 문제가 있지 않겠습니까? 아무리 부모님이라 하더라도 이제는 흘러간 과거가 되어 버렸으니, 마음을 굳게 먹고 다가올 날들을 더욱 보람 있게 살아가야 하겠습니다. 또한 그것은 불효가 아니라, 오히려 그렇게 하는 것이 어머니를 진정으로 모시고 기쁘게 해 드리는 일이 아니겠습니까. 그런 생각을 해 봅니다.

모든 것은 부질없는 것이라, 어머님도 그렇게 가시고 저 또한 그렇게 가겠지요. 오늘 비통한 저의 마음은, 뒷날 제 아이들의 마음 아니겠습니까? 아직도 젊고 힘있을 때, 하나라도
더 닦고 공부해야 뒷날 이별을 맞이할 때 웃으며 갈 수 있겠지요.
그런 다짐으로 오늘 하루를 맞이합니다.
